Cards, Code & Memory: My 2nd Place at the Halloween Hackathon
  Published on:
In November 2021, I joined the Halloween Hackathon hosted by DressCode. Once again competing solo, I built a game that earned me 2nd place 🏆.
My project was Memorandom, a card-matching memory game where players flipped and matched pairs. It combined simple mechanics with a polished experience, perfect for quick, engaging play.

Lessons learned from this hackathon:
- Designing gameplay that is easy to learn but rewarding to master
- Sharpening frontend and UX skills under pressure
- Proving I could ideate, design, and ship projects entirely on my own
This event showed me how much I could achieve with focus and creativity in a short timeframe.
